Types of Crimes

We are documenting different types of crimes like Cow Vigilantism, Cattle Smuggling, Love Jihad, Rape, Marital Rape and Dowry related crimes.

• Cow Vigilantism:

  Cow vigilante violence involves mob attacks in the name of "cow protection".

• Cattle Smuggling:

  Cattle Smuggling is a real issue that Indian farmers are facing mostly in northern part of the country. This type of crimes involve kidnapping of cattle like cows, buffaloes, etc.

• Love Jihad:

  Love Jihad is a term used to describe alleged campaigns under which Muslim men target women belonging to non-Muslim communities for conversion to Islam by feigning love. The term is mostly used by right wing ecosystem in India. So, we will document all such cases and try to find out whether Love Jihad exists or not.

• Rape Cases:

  We are documenting all the rape cases with an aim to find a pattern which may lead us to some solution or reforms.

• Marital Rape:

  We are documenting all the cases of Marital rape.

• Dowry Related Crimes:

  All the crimes related to dowry.

• Forced Conversions:

  All the crimes related to forced conversions.

• Honour Killing:

  A case in which relatives kill the family member in the name of saving honour.
